Yesterday was quite the workout! I was nervous about it but knew it would be a good one.
We did Tillman, which is a Hero WOD.
7 Rounds for time
7 deadlifts (I started with 185 and eventually dropped down to 145 by the 3rd round)
1 gasser (ended up being 4 50m sprints, back and forth, in our ‘yard’ at the box)
15 pull ups (I opted for ring rows, because my shoulder/neck on my left side was really bugging me from the push presses the day before)
45 sec rest
I finished at 26:26. I was last, but that’s okay. The ring rows and running aren’t my specialty.
I was getting tired enough that it was hurting my back because I was deadlifting so much weight. I wasn’t focusing on form, just trying to get it done. Lowering the weight allowed me to do them properly, and repeatedly.
