So I am not a double unders connoisseur. I would love to be good at them, but I’m not. I can do some, not a lot. I rarely RX WODs that have them, and today was no different HOWEVER. I did do more DUs than I’ve ever done, simultaneously, and throughout the class. Usually I’ll start out with a few and then say fuck it, I’ll just do singles.. and then go about my day. Nobody questions it, whatever. But today, something clicked and it was AWESOME. It wasn’t a big click, it was a tiny little shove through a doorway into a room where I kind of don’t belong, but everyone knows me.. yeah. Like, hey this is familiar, hey everyone!! Okay yeah hi!! And I stay for a few minutes, and then leave out of awkwardness.

Well today I stayed a little bit longer. It was still awkward, but I left that room with a smile on my face instead of stomping out the door with sheer frustration.

The score was total Front Squat reps, so you know, I kinda killed it. I tied with one other girl who did it with RX weight, and she’s amazing.(Kerrin, what’s up!)
