I decided to mix it up and add some cardio in today, and headed to spin class this afternoon. I was so amped up to go, and motivated and all that, music started off right, was smiling with excitement, and… my left foot started giving me shit about 10-15 min in. The same pain that came from running so much awhile back, it’s on the outside, underside of my left foot, kind of around my pinky toe now, and to put my full weight on it when we were doing anything other than a standing jog really bothered me… After 15 min, a standing jog started to hurt, AND I felt a blister-sort of pain on the ball of my left foot, since I was overcompensating for the other part of my foot.
Spin Fail. 🙁
I stuck it out for about 35-40 min, but decided that it wasn’t worth a giant blister and further foot pain and left early. WTF? Pretty bummed about it, because it started with that outside underside pinky toe pain, and I don’t know how to fix it. I was looking forward to trying to go to spin on Tuesday at 5:30p as well, but if my foot is still hurting by then (which is probably will be, since it’s been bugging me for a couple weeks now) I don’t want to push it.
Crossfit has officially taken over.
On a good note, I bought my first strapless maxi dress today!! Not something I ever expected to buy or wear.. It still needs to pass the final Dave inspection though. We’ll see how that goes. 😀 It comes with optional straps too, that I’m thinking will be mandatory straps, if you know what I mean..
