Lots of awesome things today!!! We celebrated 4 years of our business’ existence.. pretty cool! I also opted to completely overdo myself and go to both Crossfit AND spinning with Diana today.. I tried out another new place, Crossfit Total Control this morning at 10 am and LOVED it.. I’m gonna go back tomorrow and try it again. This place is right near the house, has a great group of people, is nice and structured and not so chaotic.

The workout from yesterday was CRAZY. Not awful, but CRAZY. Russell, my new coach, was totally right when he said it was more mental than anything. You just had to get through it.
It was the following:
Each minute, you do 5 burpees, and after you’re done with those 5 burpees, then you do as many thrusters as you can for the remainder of the minute. Then when the new minute starts, you start all over again. The goal is 100 thrusters total.
It took me 31 minutes, a 10 lb drop in weight on the bar (from 65 to 55lbs) and scaling back from 5 burpees to 2 burpees to finish, but I finished. 🙂 Called Kalsu, a hero WOD.
Anyway, all in all, it was a great day. Finished it off with a moderately awesome spin class, and then a celebration dinner for our business’ official 4 year anniversary and my day was officially perfect.
