So, if you are a regular follower, you’ll have noticed that some things have changed! I did a total site update, and switched over from blogger to wordpress. Welcome!
I’ll post more about it in the future, but I wanted to get an update in!
I was headed to Wisconsin for a full week, so I wanted to make sure I worked out one last time, before a whole week off! I was pretty excited to have a good excuse to rest my foot, because without good excuses, I have a hard time not showing up.
The WOD:
every minute on the minute for 10 minutes:
1 back squat
then
8 rounds for time:
5 strict ring dips
10 russian twists (35/15)
15 wall-balls (20/16)
I skipped out on the EMOM.
I used a band for the ring dips, which was great, did my russian twists (wasn’t even sore from them, what the hell?) and then I used a 14lb ball for wall balls. Bleh.
One of the cool things was, we warmed up with some strict ring holds. I’ve never been able to hold myself up for more than a second each time. And today, I did a full 5 or 6, at several seconds each. I was SO excited! I don’t know what happened or clicked, but I did them. Pretty proud. 🙂
