Finally made an effort to get back into the gym this week after our Black Friday/Cyber Monday madness. It felt so good, but I had to force myself to go! As always though, I always feel so amazing afterwards.
We worked on snatch balance, which was pretty great, since I never do that sort of work.
The WOD was:
17 min
30 – Snatches (95/65)
30 – BFB
20 – Snatches (115/75)
20 – BFB
10 – Snatches (135/95)
10 – BFB
ME – Snatches (155/105)
BFB = bar facing burpees
I got through 9 reps of the 3rd set of snatches, for a total score of 109. Pretty happy with that, especially considering I hadn’t been in over a week, and I RXed it. Those 95 lb snatches got heavy fast. Glad I went!
Crazy that I can take a week off and still not be sore. Especially after all those burpees.
