Free workout with the trainers! Only problem was, we had to be there at 8am, haha. Loved it. Elaine and I opted to do the unmodded workout along with the Erins, and MAN it was hard! 22 minutes, AMRAP.
WOD:
50 back squats (65 lbs)
40 pull ups (jumping pull ups on the boxes)
30 shoulder to overhead (65 lbs)
50 front squats (45 lbs)
40 pull ups (jumping pull ups on the boxes)
30 shoulder to overhead (35 lbs)
50 overhead squats (35 lbs)
40 pull ups (jumping pull ups on the boxes)
30 shoulder to overhead (35 lbs)
We got all the way through the second set of 30 shoulder to overhead presses (jerks, split jerks, whichever, just get it over your head!) and then 12 into the 50 overhead squats. GOOD LORD. Awesome.
Then we did the Powerlifting Seminar with Carter’s friend, Billy. Good info! We worked on squats and deadlifts. Apparently, dead lifts ARE NOT supposed to hurt your lower back, who knew?! I guess I’ve been doing them wrong.
