You can guess I was REALLY excited about today’s WOD. The 100 sit ups were no problem… but followed my a 1 mile run? I was like. uh… ugh… I should go.
I went. I talked myself into rowing instead of running. I ended up running. 🙂 (shuffling at a somewhat faster pace than I can walk, rather.)

100- Ab Mat Sit ups
1 – Mile Run
So… I was looking at the scores, and people had posted up like, 8:44, 9:14, 9:28 and I thought SURELY that’s just the mile time! Hah. No. That was 100 situps AND a mile run time! To date, my fastest mile yet is 10:32. I couldn’t believe it.
So the WOD started, I finished my 100 situps in just over 5 minutes, and got up and thought about rowing, and Justin was like, just go! So I went. No headphones, either! It was pretty awful, because I had to listen to myself die for the next roughly 11 minutes.
I ended up finishing in 16:53, which means I ran roughly a 11:30 mile. I’m okay with that, especially considering how tired I already was. What was really cool is one of our guys, Richard, came and ran the last lap with me. 🙂 Thanks, Richard!
