I knew I had the thrusters down for 13.5 but I’ve never gotten kipping pull ups, let alone chest to bar! While I was practicing my C2B, my mom goes.. “Oh honey, you’re so close!! Your chin is over the bar!!” And of course I did a little dance and was like “I KNOW!!! I’VE NEVER DONE THAT BEFORE!!! hahaha”
So… while I didn’t get the chest to bar pullups as required for the WOD, I DID finally get my pull ups. It wasn’t as.. mind blowing as I expected it to be, it was more of like a quiet little victory, like STFU finallyyy!!! I ended up doing 4 or 5, maybe.
But.. moving on, I finished my 15 thrusters, and kept trying and trying the ninja kip to get my chest up there, and then of course I ripped the palm of my hand on the very last attempt before time ran out.. Sigh..
Still, pretty awesome. 🙂
