I took yesterday off and I’m thankful for it! Although yesterday afternoon, I had no idea what to do with myself, as I was suddenly faced with a whole bunch of free time. I was supposed to rest, which I sort of did. I cleaned the hell out of my car (dog hair, stuff, crap, garbage, empty packages.. it just accumulates, and it’s embarrassing.)
So.. after cleaning the car, I cleaned the kitchen, and then decided I had to finish it all up with a trip to Publix, and made a mess all over again, that I cleaned up, again. It’s okay though! It was nice to have a clean area. 🙂
SOOO. Today. Today I was ready! It was heavy deadlifts and T2B. BOTH of which I could do, and I DID.

Score is total # of T2B, and you have to do all 4 deadlifts every minute for an RX.
Since we had a pretty big class tonight, I started with T2B instead of DL, so I had my own pull up bar to focus on. I knocked out a cool 8 T2B my first set! I opted to keep a running total in my head, and shot for around 5-6 each round after that. I ended up completing 46 total T2B, and completed all 28 of my DLs at 225. I was one of only 16 people who RXed today’s WOD. 16 out of 93 people! I was thrilled. And because I was doing the RX weight, I was determined to do all of my Toes to Bar too instead of sissying out and doing K2E as an alternate movement.
My only injury is this lovely hand tear from the deadlifts. Thank goodness for gymnast straps tonight!
