Tabata Angie! I haven’t done Angie in a long time, since July 10th, actually! Back then, I did 5 sets of 10, and then 2 more sets of 10 after that. Finished in 18 min.
This time, I did Level 1 Angie, which was 75 pull ups (banded) 100 push ups, 100 sit ups, 100 squats.
Going from pull ups to push ups was grueling. The sit ups, I went prepared. I took a new dishwashing sponge (sounds gross, sorry) to stick in my pants to cover my tail bone. GENIUS! No bleeding, no messed up skin, no raw skin and pain for days after doing 100 sit ups symptoms whatsoever.
I finished Angie this time in 27 minutes 19 sec. I wish I was faster than that, but those pull ups to push ups were tough. I can start out doing 10 pull ups at a time with the band, but your arms get so fatigued (to the point where you can’t even support yourself) that I reduced my reps down to 2 or 3 at a time towards the end.
Good stuff though. And since it was Tabata, it was 20 seconds on, 10 seconds off, until you finish. Different way of doing it, but I liked it.
