Well, I was planning on taking Monday as my rest day, and I texted Russ to let him know, to which he replied, no, you’re not.. it’s deadlift day! You can’t miss today! Soooo with 5 minutes to get ready, I scrambled and headed over and got there just in time.
I ended up PRing my deadlifts at 305 lbs! Last time I did deadlifts, I was able to do 225. That was maybe 8 weeks ago? I was going to stop at 295, but Jenny walked over and added 10 more pounds onto my bar, and then was like, okay do it again. So I did! 🙂
Our WOD was the following:
50 DUs (150 singles)
10 deadlifts (I ended up doing 155lbs, to go easy on my back)
Even though I did 150 singles each time, I finished right on par with everyone else at 4:36. YEAH. Definitely a proud day for me. 🙂
