I got a new PR for myself!! We worked on Front Squats on Friday, and the last time I did these was with Erin about a month ago. I managed 185 lbs last time, but Friday I got up to 200 lbs. 🙂 Dave swears I could’ve done more, but I’ll save that for next time.. haha. I AM SO PROUD OF MYSELF! And.. I even get to go up on the board at Total Control for records!
Our WOD for the day was the following:
12 min AMRAP
5 hang cleans (75 lbs for me) RX weight was 135/95lbs
7 HSPUs – Russell put a couple weights under the ab mat I was using, so that I had to touch my head to the top.. no questions about it! These were great, very challenging for me to push harder.
9 T2Bs – I’ve never really done toes to bar successfully, but I tried my hardest on Friday, and some of them I was able to kip pretty well and get my feet up there. An accomplishment for me!
The goal was to finish at least 4 rounds, and I finished 4 rounds, 5 hang cleans and 7 HSPUs. Not too bad. 🙂
