So with Wodapalooza fast approaching, I have again set goals for myself to WOD every day during the week as well as go to Yoga daily, as well. I have been so insanely busy though, with this schedule, that the last thing I have time to do is document it. I get home, eat, and plop down with the pups for a bit and then go to bed. I’ve been nodding off around 9:30-10p each night, and I end up waking up a bit, cleaning up the house a little, and then heading off to bed. It’s been a challenge.
Anyway, day 328 went as follows: (love RXing WODs!)
Strength: Max Effort Upper
1.) 1RM Strict Press
2.) 3×10: Close Grip Floor Press
I got 105 on the strict press. I went for 115, but did a tiny knee bend (push press) and I didn’t count it..
WOD: 7 Rounds
7- Deadlifts (225/155)
7 – Box Jumps (24/20″)
7 – HR Pushups
This was a good one! I RXed the weight, and suffered through it, but finishing a WOD like this just leaves you feeling so exhilarated! I love it. AND it was at 7a, which means I go in, get it done, and get on with my day. I finished in 9:46, which is longer than most people took, but again, I RXed it, which… only a few other girls did. WEEE! I’ll take it. 🙂
So.. I got a call at 7:30a (during the workout, so I didn’t hear my phone) from Marisa, who had gotten sick over the weekend. Miserably sick, stomach flu sick!! Let’s just say it’s a really good thing I opted to work out that morning instead of in the afternoon, because my day went from being a normal Monday with the two of us running production, to just me running production. I don’t know what I’d do without her! I knew she needed to rest and get better though, so I just made the best of it. But seriously, had I not gone in at 7, I wouldn’t have made it to the gym at all. It was a long day.
