I WAS SO EXCITED ABOUT KALSU! Nobody ever says that.. ever.. BUT.. Kalsu was my VERY FIRST WOD at Crossfit Total Control, so this was a milestone for me!

Every minute on the minute..
do 5 burpees, and then in the remaining time, do as many thrusters as you can in that minute, until you reach 100 thrusters.

One year ago, I went from 65lbs to 55lbs, and 5 burpees a minute to 2 burpees a minute, and finished in 31 minutes. Hell. Russell, my coach, even remembers this day, that’s how awful it was for me. For a coach and gym owner to remember someone’s first day, that’s BAD.
This year… I did 65lbs the whole time, 5 burpees every minute, and I finished in just under 25 minutes. That’s a pretty big PR! I was so excited!! I was thrilled, excited, and ecstatic to see my progress, to have this little moment of joy. It was just awesome.
No matter how bad the day is… a day at my box is the best fix. <3 br="">3>
