Thursday workouts are Girls + John workouts, and poor Erin M is such a good sport with all of us chatting it up throughout the whole thing. I think they purposely make the workouts harder on Thursdays, so we don’t talk as much. 😀
Elaine was my lifting buddy yesterday. By us working together, we totally pushed each other to keep going. I loved it! Our warm ups were the following:
3 – 3 – 3 – push press – I PRed at 75lbs for my push press
1 -1 – 1 – push jerk – I PRed at 125lbs for my push jerks
Then our WOD was the following for time:
50 squat thrusters 55lbs on my bar
1 mile run. (blah)
I finished in 19 min even. Not the best, not the worst. I wish I had known we were running. I wouldve brought music! Next time. Need to just leave headphones in my car or something.
