I was fortunate to be able to come in at 6:30p Friday.. normally we don’t have 6:30p classes, but Russell was staying late. Worked for me! It was definitely weird to work out along side my coach, without him coaching me. I had to push myself and compete with myself, which is something I’m not used to doing in the gym setting. I’m used to having others cheer me on, and motivate me simply by being there. Just by watching others’ progress and performance keeps me motivated to push forward. This was a neat way to work out though. On my own with Russ, without any motivation.
We did the following WOD:
50 Wall balls
50 Toes-to-bar (I did these on the floor, to save my hands)
Run 800 meters (rowed)
75 pound Push press, 75 reps
150 Double-unders (300 singles)
I finished in 19:49. Russ finished in 21:22, but he Rxed it. 🙂 Still, I was very happy with my time!
