Cyber Monday! Our biggest day of the year! This morning at 7a, I stood in the kitchen and thought to myself, the next time I’m home, it’ll be 12 hours from now. And, that’s about how it went! I left the office tonight at 7p, had to run to Lululemon for some awesomeness, and then headed home. I didn’t get home til 7:40p, so I knew I’d be missing the regular class, but I decided to change and head over to the gym anyway. I figured I had a better chance of doing something physical there than at home.
I ended up doing 10 sets of 50m weighted sled sprints, which felt really good. I made sure to stretch my calves before and after really well on the doorstep, so we’ll see how they feel in the morning. I really love sled sprints, but they wreck my feet (tight calves = tight achilles = excruciating arch pain). Kind of excited to see how they feel tomorrow after my extensive stretching.
I also made a promise to myself to get my shit cleaned up again. I keep sliding back with how busy we’ve been. It’s so easy to grab something sweet to snack on, if it’s there. If it’s not there, you can’t eat it! I am being strong and going through the fridge/freezer tonight and tossing all the crap I shouldn’t be eating. As soon as I post this, that’s the next thing on my list of things to do tonight before I head to bed.
Wish me luck! I’d like to be a few pounds down, and thinner feeling by Christmas. 🙂
