OMG Friday the 13th!
Anyway, today was my 5th day in a row at Crossfit Total Control. Awesome! Pretty happy about that because I still feel good! This afternoon, after our workout, I definitely started feeling it though. For the first time this week I’m drained and kinda spent and sore. Not like usual soreness, but like, oh jesus.. I’m beat! kinda thing. I had an extra BCAA packet for good measure. (and it tastes fabulous..)
We worked on Front Squats today and I KNEW I had to PR it again.. I had just hit my PR of 200lbs a few weeks ago, so it was gonna be tough for me to do it again, but I did! 205 lbs YEAH!
Today our WOD was the following:
12 min climbing ladder
2 squat cleans
2 push press
20 DU (or 60 singles)
then.. you go up to 4 of each (but jump ropes stay the same) and then 6, and so on.
I finished 3 rounds + 10. I was aiming for 3 rounds, and I did it!
I also did T2B successfully for the first time too.. I’ve never been able to get my toes all the way up, and I diiiid it!!
Double Unders are still a work in progress. 😉
