I took Wednesday off, but mainly because I had a splitting headache that wouldn’t go away. I figured out today what it was coming from, and realized it was a direct result of taking this stuff called Super Cissus that I bought for speedy bone healing and recovery. I mean, it’s awesome if it works for that, but I can’t handle these headaches. I experienced them again this morning shortly after I took my two capsules, so yeah.. No more Cissus Quandrangularis or whatever the hell it’s called. Bummer, you guys!!
In the meantime, I’ve been religiously taking my Vitamin D, Vitamin K-2, Glutamine, Super B Complex, and my BCAAs. We’ll see how this all goes.
Today was Bring a Friend Day and my friend Claudio from yoga had been wanting to try CrossFit out. He actually showed up! I love it when my friends don’t chicken out. He got there, put in the work, and did such an awesome job!! So proud. ๐
I got to work with Thais, and she was an amazing buddy! They bolted soon after the workout, so I couldn’t get a partner photo, but they have a new baby at home to get back to!

I rowed instead of ran, and we used a 12 lb wall ball, but I did it! My T2B were more like hanging knee raises, but I was worried about coming off the bar! Instead, after my 5 knee raises, I’d tenderly step down onto a plyo box (the same one I probably propped my foot on Saturday!) and got down off the bar that way. It worked, and it was great. We finished 11+15 rounds and reps. ๐
