3RM Hang Power Snatch. I went for 115 and it just didn’t happen. You don’t realize how much you utilize that power position from the floor until you’re not supposed to. I threw in the towel at 95. Snatches are hard for me, I suck at them. My fault for not trying to relearn the proper form, and instead just muscling through them.

Used 1 green band since Derek said he wanted real C2B and not pull ups for scaled. That if we were scaling them, that we needed to use the band and do C2B. Okay fine.
Snatches, man.. 15 hang snatches were rough. I didn’t realize they would be, but again, kept wanting to default to power snatches.
Pistols are always hard on me. Instead of using the band to hang on to, I used the post. and I felt like I got more out of it that way. I used the post for stability, instead of clinging to the band for support.
Side Note: My arms/triceps were sore for DAYS after this one. Chalking it up to using just the green band and really trying to go for legit C2B pull ups each rep. And I tried to blow through them, because sadly, the banded C2B was the easiest part of this WOD. (it sucked.) I’m talking crazy sore, like I might have had a mild case of rhabdo sore. Awesome.
