Crossfit Day 378 – Memorial Day Murph – 5/26/14

Memorial Day Murph is a tradition at our gym! We do it every year to honor the fallen soldiers and vets who served our country. It has a different meaning for everyone, but it’s still special, regardless.

The last 2 years I have done a Half Murph, and this year, I chose to do the same.

A full Murph consists of:

1 mile run
100 pull ups
200 push ups
300 squats
1 mile run

Half Murph is just half of all the above.

Last year, I finished my time in 34:52. Two years ago, I finished in 38:37.

This year, I finished in 32:26. 🙂

Happy about that! And THEN I even had like, 15-20 people gather around and stretch out with me! Biggest class so far, and totally unplanned. Hoping I have some cool pics to show, but in the meantime, here’s me suffering (bottom picture) and giving my arms a rest during push ups. And Russell is dying in the background.
