I won’t be posting this daily, but I wanted to document how I took my amino acids today, just so they were all laid out for others to see. If you’re interested in my Amino Acids experiment, you can read more about it here.
My biggest thing with starting a regimen is getting the timing down, which is why I tried to go into this with everything all planned out and whatnot.

Morning: I woke up, turned the coffee maker on, and took my Tyrosine. I showered, dressed, took the pups out, brewed my coffee and headed into the office. So, timing between taking Tyrosine and drinking anything else was probably 30 or so minutes.On my way to work, I told my mom that I felt great, and it was nice to not be pissed off at anything. Hah.
We skipped breakfast and Dave and I ended up not eating lunch until 1ish. I headed home after that, straightened up a bit, hung out with the dogs, watered the plants, etc etc and started getting ready for the gym. I wanted to go for the 4:30p workout, so at around 3p I made my afternoon coffee. Then at 3:30ish, I took my Phenylalanine, and then at 4:15p, while driving to the gym, I drank my BCAAs.
On my way to the gym, I was like, man I’m totally ready for this workout! Psyched, not dragging. Totally pumped but not jittery. In an overall great mood. Finished my workout, felt amazing, headed home.
Around 6p, right before I headed to my friends’ house, I took my Taurine and Magnesium. (with water).
Came home around 8:30p, fed the dogs, started making dinner (had a late dinner tonight) and took my GABA. (9p) Around 9:30, we finally ate dinner. I had made Dave chicken fried rice, and I made 2 banana pancakes with honey and raspberries for myself. (so freakin good)
Now, it’s 11p, I’ll be heading to bed soon and I’ll take my Tryptophan right before.
So far, I’m feeling great. I don’t feel weird, and the regimen is easy to follow, even with my busy schedule. I’ve managed to take all the pills so far on an empty stomach, although last night with the Tryptophan I experienced a little bit of bloating (they say on the internet to take with carbs, so I had a few swigs of almond milk out of the carton to get something in my tummy. That settled it.)
