I went into Open Gym today knowing I was going to repeat 13.4, knowing I could at least get through my first 3 rounds of Clean and Jerks and T2B.. I knew that if I passed through the sets of 9, that I’d be golden and happy as pie..
I got finished with my 12 clean and jerks, (and wasn’t even keeping track, cause I went to pick up the bar again for another C&J) and they all started yelling at me, NOO!! TOES TO BAR!!! So I ran over to the bar and was able to nail out one final T2B when the clock hit time.
I GOT 49!!!!!! YEAHHH!!!! I got like, 3 no reps on the T2B, just from hurrying through them and barely missing, plus I kept fiddling with the tape on my hands cause it kept slipping. I must’ve had too much chalk on my hands and it got under my tape and made it unsticky, so I have a really nice papercut-ish kinda cut under my middle finger on my right hand, right where your ring would go if you had one there, right on the fucking knuckle crack! Arrghh.. Oh well. Totally worth it! I was all smiles..

On a side note: I need to do more GHD sit ups, damn it. My middle is the most avoided section, and I’m starting to acknowledge this more. π
I did 104 ring pushups (on my knees because I'm too heavy/ not strong enough for body exercises) and 104 regular knee pushups on Friday night and my abs are STILL killing me!
Oh and congrats on 49! So proud of you! Sorry, I meant to say that in my previous post but I last read you need to do more ab stuff I thought, I have an exercise! LOL
Haha no worries lovey! The ghd situps are my favorite. Leave you sore for days, so it's like you actually did something! π I know you know the feeling! Those ring push ups (ring dips) are so hard on my upper body! My lats and triceps are anti-ring dips, hahaha. Nice work! That's a huge set to do.
Have you ever tried using a resistance band between both rings for your ring dips? Just another option! <3 xo
