I didn’t PR on my back squat today. I stayed right at 200 lbs. A little annoyed. I think the amount of reps was set too high for me to go any higher. I could have, yes, but because of the reps, we ran out of time. I need to work on that. I don’t like running out of time when I could be setting personal records. 🙁 Next time.
Our workout today was:
4 Rounds
25 hollow rocks
6 pistols (3 per leg)
6 body blasters (burpee, then up on the box for a jumping pull up, then a half assed toes to bar, 6 times. Very attractive and graceful.)

I have no idea if I even finished. I don’t think I did. But they were all cheering me on, because I was the last one to finish, and when I was done rowing they called time, and I went with it. It was still the slowest time on the board. Discouraging, because I don’t know how I could have gone any faster. At least, I don’t know how I could’ve kept up with anyone else. I’m doing so many new things that my body isn’t used to, and I feel like the slow, fat worm sometimes. And when I say sometimes, I mean often.
Blah. I’m totally discouraged now. I hope Wednesday is better, but I almost want to go tomorrow to make up for how badly I sucked today. Maybe I’ll do a WOD in the morning and then spin in the afternoon, just to torture myself. I sure as shit need the exercise.
